Possible Album Tease
Andre 3000 has sparked speculation regarding a new album by sharing enigmatic images of posters related to a misplaced laptop.

The former Outkast member, whose real name is Andre Benjamin, released his debut solo album “New Blue Sun” in November 2023, surprising many fans with its flute-driven sound rather than the funk and jazz rap style of his earlier work.
He hinted at the potential for new music to be released in 2025, telling Amazon Music in November that he believes this is “for sure,” even though no official announcements have been made.
This week, however, fans on social media quickly responded to a series of posts on Instagram that many believe could be part of Andre’s mysterious marketing strategy.
The posts featured missing posters stating that the rapper had lost a blue laptop containing “black sketches and notes inside.” The posters mentioned that “the last time they saw Nord was on March 29 in Amsterdam,” and provided a link to a website called Many Pyramids, where fans can download the poster.

Fans of Andre 3000 have drawn conclusions from these speculative posts, suggesting they indicate a potential new LP.
Andre 3000 is likely working on an album, probably titled “Miriad of Pyramids”, which could feature rap.

Despite the assumptions, Stereogum reported that Andre 3000’s team confirmed the posts are indeed related to the missing laptop. If anyone finds the laptop, they are advised to email massy@amyriadofpyramids.com.
Regardless of the meaning behind the posts, it seems improbable that Outkast will reunite to release new music anytime soon. In December, Andre mentioned that the duo was “further away” from making new music, which “we were able to.”
“I would have said, maybe 10, 15 years ago, that an Outkast album would happen,” he explained. “I can’t predict the future, but I can say that we are more distant from it now.”
“(Outkast) was a significant part of my life, and our chemistry was undeniable during that time,” he reflected, acknowledging that “some things shouldn’t last forever.”
“This probably doesn’t have to last forever,” he continued. “It isn’t merely a product. In the end, we offered a product, but what made it special was the specific moments in our lives.”
In 2023, Benjamin expressed that he feels he “withstood” rap, sharing with GQ: “Sometimes, it feels like rap doesn’t fit me, as I have nothing to convey in that manner. I’m 48 years old. And while age isn’t the sole determining factor for what you express, it does play a role.”
“And the events in my life, such as having to schedule a colonoscopy. What am I supposed to rap about? My eyesight is deteriorating. I can try to phrase this creatively, but…”
