Glastonbury 2025 Performers Announcement
Fans of Glastonbury 2025 reacted to the lineup announced this morning (March 6).
Neil Young, The 1975, and Olivia Rodrigo will headline the notable event in Pilton, Somerset, from June 27 to 29. They will be joined by many other acts, including Charlie XCX, Biffy Clyro, and Noah Kahan.

Other names on the bill include Maccabees, Alanis Morissette, Lucy Dacus, Father John Misty, Ray, Wolf Alice, The Prodigy, Doechii, St. Vincent, Deftones, Scissor Sisters, The Libertines, Wet Leg, Weezer, AJ Tracey, Future Islands, Jade, TV on the Radio, Self Esteem, CMAT, and Blossoms.
Young has already been confirmed to grace the Pyramid Stage, following an initial exit due to creative disagreements with the festival, while Stewart Rod has been slated for the coveted Sunday slot. Neil Rogers hinted at a possible direct performance as well.
In recent months, there have been rumors surrounding Olivia Rodrigo and The 1975, along with whispers about Taylor Swift, Sam Fender, Stevie Wonder, and Rihanna, the latter reportedly planning London stadium shows.
Many fans expressed mixed feelings about The 1975’s headlining performance. One remarked, “I love them or hate them, it would be unfair to say The 1975 isn’t the biggest British band of the last decade. They definitely deserve to headline Glastonbury, and they’re probably overdue.”

On the other hand, some fans were less enthusiastic, critiquing The 1975’s selection as headliners. One user stated, “Absolutely mental that The 1975 is headlining; they are just a terrible band. Either Alanis Morissette or Busta Rhymes would be a better choice.”

In contrast, Olivia Rodrigo, another headliner, received praise. Fans expressed their excitement, stating, “Olivia Rodrigo at Glastonbury, I love you,” and many agreed that this year’s lineup is particularly compelling, with a variety of artists worth seeing.

As preparations continue, the festival organizers promise that “many more acts and attractions will be announced in the coming months.” The famous event is set to take its traditional year off in 2026 before returning in 2027 to allow the agricultural land to recover.
Last year, Glastonbury saw headlining performances from Coldplay, Dua Lipa, and SZA, alongside standout acts like Idles, Fontaines DC, Kneecap, Seventeen, The National, Justice, and LCD Soundsystem.
