Fans in New Jersey Petition Seoul Court to Overturn Judicial Ban Against Ador and the Group

Petition Against Judicial Prohibition

Fans in New Jus/NJZ have initiated a petition advocating for the dismissal of Ador’s judicial prohibition imposed on the group in Seoul -Cort.

Support from Thousands of Fans

Approximately 30,000 fans, comprising both local and international supporters, have signed the petition, which launched on February 24. The fan coalition released a statement outlining their stance on the ongoing litigation.

Concerns Over Artists’ Freedom

This petition arises after the initial court hearing regarding Ador’s judicial prohibition, which has now expanded to restrict all independent musical and entertainment events in New Jus, in addition to the prior ban on independent brand transactions.

“We support the termination of their exclusive contracts,” the fans expressed in their statement. “If they are compelled to maintain their association with a company that has shattered their trust, it will only prolong the suffering of participants working in a hostile environment, hindering both artists and fans from enjoying their pursuits in the future.”

The statement further emphasizes: “We do not wish for their musical careers to be hindered by external factors. We urge the court to lift the judicial prohibition against Ador regarding the members’ activities, allowing them to thrive in a safe and supportive environment surrounded by trusted individuals.”

In response to the calls for an extended court prohibition, Ador stated that the measures were instated, “to ensure they can continue their activities in accordance with our existing contract agreement,” rather than to “hinder the artists’ careers.”
