Theatrical Performance at El Museo del Barrio

Michel Zauner and her group created a theatrical production with props and costumes at El Museo del Barrio over the weekend, performing the album—released last Friday (March 21)—in its entirety along with tracks from her previous band, Little League.

Many live performances can be viewed below, including “Someone”, “Orlando in Love”, “Men in the Bars”, and “Winter in Los Angeles”.

After the performance, Zauner shared numerous photos from the concert on Instagram.

Review “Melancholy Brunettes (and Sad Women)”, NME awarded the record with four stars, stating: “The delightfully nuanced songs by Michel Zauner shine on a bold, beautifully crafted fourth album from the indie rockers.”

The band will embark on a world tour, starting with their slot at the Coachella festival in California next month, followed by stops in Austin, Atlanta, Charlotte, Detroit, Boston, Brooklyn, and other cities before heading to Europe and the UK. The tour will conclude with a return to the United States, finishing in Minneapolis on September 9.
