Hidden Tour of the Landscapes

The tour, named the “hidden tour of the landscapes,” will now be called the “new race of the show” (announced on March 14) and will feature the group performing tracks from their entire catalog in a series of theatrical shows.

The events will take place across London and North America, with fans anticipating a unique reimagining of their music in a “charming new light.” This will include the addition of strings and piano, aiming to create an entirely new soundscape for their beloved hits.

This announcement coincides with the celebration of 25 years since their formation, during which artists will join them for support on a cause to be confirmed later.

The tour will kick off with a show in Manchester, followed by two nights at the Royal Albert Hall in London in June. The itinerary continues in July with numerous shows planned in Mexico and the United States, including three nights in Los Angeles and two in San Francisco, as well as concerts in Nashville, Chicago, and New York.

Tickets will be available for purchase starting March 21 at 10 a.m. local time, with pre-sale options beginning on March 19. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Client Earth.

“Hi, we missed you! They may not miss you like we do,” said the group in a new statement. “With a deep desire to reunite with our family and you, our wonderful fans, YYYs is set to perform a series of special shows this summer.

“As the late David Lynch would say: ‘All you need to do is turn on the light, and the darkness leaves.’ To let our love shine through, we will delve deep into our catalog. We will perform songs that are rarely (if ever) heard live alongside timeless favorites, all with new arrangements that include acoustic guitars and strings,” they continued.

“We’d love for you to join us for these intimate performances in beautiful cult cinemas as we celebrate 25 years—yes, yes, not a bad place to be!”

Yes, yes, yes, performed their last show in Toronto on November 11, 2023. Earlier that year, they shared the stage with fellow NYC indie rockers, The Strokes, during their series of shows in London.

The recent announcement came after the group began teasing on social media earlier this month.

Additionally, following the conclusion of their 2023 shows, Yes, yes, yes, celebrated the 20th anniversary of their debut album, “Fever to Tell,” which included the release of a half-hour documentary. The 2002 album is remembered for its groundbreaking impact in modern music, featuring contributions from frequent collaborator Patrick Daughters.

Their latest full-length release was the 2022 album “Cool It Down.” In a four-star LP review, NME noted: “Cool It Down is a creative embodiment of how refreshing it can be for artists to forge ahead rather than look back, and as they put it in describing the first track of the album, ‘it counts, and there is hope in it.’”
