New Single Release
Everything is recorded has unveiled their latest single “Swamp Dream No. 3”, featuring Clarie Freeman-Taylor as “Mary in the Dump”.
About the Upcoming Album
This track is part of “Temporary,” the third album by Everything Is Recorded, which will be released on February 28 via XL Recordings. Unlike their previous singles that included multiple artists, “Swamp Dream #3” showcases a unique collaboration where Richard Russell and Freeman-Taylor jointly played all the instruments during their sessions at Copper House Studios in West London.
The album has been in the making for four years, from 2020 to 2024, with the majority of the recording happening at Russell’s Copper House studio, along with sessions conducted in Tottenham, Cumbria, Dorset, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. “Temporary” features an impressive lineup of collaborations, including artists like Sampha, Bill Callahan, Noah Cyrus, Florence Welch, and many more.
Production Background
“Temporary” also follows Russell’s recent work as a producer, contributing to tracks for Peter Gabriel’s i/o album and Mary In The Junkyard’s “this old house” EP, as well as working on “Daffodils & Dirt,” a collaboration with Samantha Morton under the alias SAM MORTON.
