Ethel Kane has announced plans to release a vinyl record of 'Preacher's Daughter' following her upcoming project 'Perverts'.
The new project is preceded by the single “Punish”, which showcases a dark ambient sound. Written, produced and mixed by Cain herself, “Perverts” explores sonic negative space, exploring transcendence through physical and spiritual sensations, simulacrum and depravity. The work moves into the hyperreal, focusing on the emotional consequences of closeness to God and its impermanence.
The vinyl edition of “Preacher's Daughter” will be released January 17, 2025. “Perverts” will be released on January 8, 2025.
