Upcoming Launch and Collaboration

In September last year, dragons took the stage at La Film Orchestra with the legendary Inon Zur for a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. The following month, the show will be available in cinemas, but before that, Imagine Dragons will serve as a sound spacecraft.

On February 26, Space Tech Company Lonestar is set to launch a missile from the Kennedy Space Center to deploy a data center on the moon. If successful, this will transfer the song back to Earth, featuring the Dragons’ collaboration with Inon Zur’s “Track of Election.”

“Our goal is to inspire the next generation of children to be delighted with future space and technology, so we chose ‘Children of the Sky’ as the first song in history to be broadcast from the moon,” said Ryan Mikeletti, Lonestar Investor, in a press statement.

Thoughts From The Band

“Bethesda has created cult games that have been a significant part of our lives, and it is a great honor for us to collaborate on this song for Starfield,” said frontman Dan Reynolds upon the release of “Children of the Sky” in 2023. “The song, much like the game, poses some of the most profound questions we face as people trying to find our place in the universe.”

“The group produced an incredible, emotional, and memorable song, and I joined them in weaving Starfield motives into the track, along with iconic elements from the main theme and Starfield orchestral treatment,” added Zur.

Last year, Reynolds admitted to being late for the band’s own concerts because he was busy playing video games. “Listen, I’m really tall, 6 feet 4, I’ve never played sports; I’ve always immersed myself in music and drama. So people might think I’m not a gamer, but this is my bread and butter. This is our world,” he shared, noting the band’s collaborations with League of Legends, Nintendo, and Netflix’s Stranger Things series.
