Eminem Believes a Collaboration with 50 Cent Would Be Awesome: “We Just Need to Stop Talking and Make It Happen”

Eminem’s Thoughts on Collaboration

Eminem expressed that he believes a collaboration with 50 Cent “would be great.”

After contributing to the new album by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg titled ‘Missionary,’ where he worked with 50 Cent on the track ‘Gunz N Smoke,’ Eminem recently chatted with Shade 45 DJ Woo Kidd. When questioned about the possibility of recording an album with 50 Cent, he stated: “That would be great. We just need to stop the bullshit and just do it.”

Eminem further remarked: “I would never say it’s impossible, damn it.”

Their Collaborative History

Their joint effort on “Gunz N Smoke” marked the latest instance of the two rappers recording together. Eminem initially signed with 50 Cent’s Shady Records in 2002 and featured on 50 Cent’s 2003 debut album Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ on tracks like “Patiently Waiting” and “Don’t Push Me.”

Recent Developments in Eminem’s Career

Before his involvement in Missionary, Eminem released his latest album, The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace). In a three-star review of the album, NME wrote: “Much more powerful is ‘Temporary,’ a truly touching ode to his daughter Hayley that proves Marshall Mathers can say something important when he wants to.

“So, who killed Slim Shady? By bringing him back into the light and casting him as irrelevant, Eminem may have ended his old pal for good. Okay, we get it – Shady was a shocking character. Now that he’s dead, how about we get some new material?”
