Elton John and Brandi Carlisle have unveiled a new documentary that provides insight into the making of their collaborative album “Who Believes in the Angels?”
Documentary Details
Titled “Who Believes in the Angels?: Stories from the Edge of Creation,” this 30-minute film chronicles the complete recording process of the album. It marks the first time John has allowed cameras to capture the journey of creating his music. The documentary is currently available exclusively on YouTube.
The film utilizes static cameras set up throughout the studio, compiling thousands of hours of footage that document a comprehensive creative journey—highlighting both the challenges and successes encountered during the recording sessions. The documentary features John, Carlisle, Andrew Watt, and Bernie Taupin as they collaborate on the project, showcasing everything from torn lyric sheets to poignant moments of inspiration.
