The Response of Vivian Wilson
The alienated daughter of Elon Musk, Vivian Wilson, responded to her remarks about their “miserable father-child” relationship after he claimed that she had “died.”
On Saturday (March 22), the SpaceX owner reacted to a comment from a fan on X/Twitter regarding Vivian, who came out as transgender in 2020. “My son, Xavier, died,” he stated. “He was killed by the virus of an extensive mind. Now the virus of an extensive mind will die.”
Musk’s Controversial Claims
Musk’s recent comments echo those he made last year in an interview with Jordan Peterson, where he repeatedly disparaged Wilson.
He claimed that during their discussion, he was “deceived” into signing documents allowing Vivian to use puberty blockers, which he referred to as “actually simply sterilization drugs.” He asserted that his “son” was “killed” by the “virus of the branched mind” and that he “lost his son.”
These comments led Musk’s former partner, Grimes, to express her support for Wilson, declaring, “I love and am forever proud of Vivian.”
In response to Musk’s latest comments, Wilson shared a video on Instagram that included screenshots of Musk’s message, followed by a lip-sync to a famous quote from RuPaul’s Drag Race: “I look pretty good for a dead bitch.”
Recent Discussions on Their Relationship
In a recent interview with Teen Vogue, Wilson mentioned that she rarely thinks about her father, humorously noting, “The only thing that can live freely in my head is drag queens.”
She also referred to Musk as a “miserable man,” adding that they hadn’t communicated in five years: “It was nearly half a decade ago. God bless.”
Earlier this year, she addressed allegations concerning her father’s perceived Nazi gesture during Donald Trump’s inauguration.
This incident occurred on January 20, during the inauguration ceremonies when the elected President Trump was sworn in for a second term. Musk turned to the crowd, stating, “I just want to say thank you for the fact that this happened,” before making a gesture that raised eyebrows. He then repeated it to the audience behind him.
“I’ll simply say, let’s call a shovel a damn shovel,” she wrote on the Threads Instagram platform on January 21. “Especially if two gestures were made in sequence based on the reaction of the first move.”
Without naming her father directly in her updates, she hinted at the incident at Capitol One Arena. Wilson later shared another update, visibly defending against claims that the gesture could be attributed to his “autism.”
“I don’t understand why you’re reacting with such intensity; I clearly only referred to card tricks,” she explained. “I mean, I have ADHD, and that was clearly just an accident when people interpreted it differently than intended.”
Her final update read: “For those who can read between the lines, do you realize how damn easy it is?”
Wilson isn’t the only one opposing Musk following this gesture; Grimes, a musician who previously dated him and shares several children with him, distanced herself from him online. Frank Iero of My Chemical Romance openly criticized him, as did Green Day, who altered their performance of “American Idiot” to criticize him during a show in South Africa.
More recently, Musk faced backlash for asserting that Netflix’s Teenage was based on the Southport killer, despite its filming beginning after the tragedy.
