Ed Shiran’s Upcoming Album
Ed Shiran appears to have hinted at the title of his forthcoming album, responding to fans’ speculation about “Play” on social media.
This comment came after Shiran’s interactions, during which he changed his profile picture. Fans raised the question of which mathematical symbol might connect his next release with past albums '+', 'x', '÷', 'and'-' Field.
Shiran’s Response to Fans
In response to the speculation, Shiran stated: “The irony is that if you ask me about anything related to mathematics, I would struggle, as I never graduated from high school. Play soon soon.”
The title was previously suggested at the end of 2023 when Shiran noted: “See you somewhere next year, when we click play on the pop music again, and we’ll enjoy a great festive season X.”
Future Album Plans
The upcoming album follows the “autumn variations” of 2023, which released shortly after “-” (“subtract”). Shiran previously confirmed intentions to produce ten records centered around the symbol theme, stating: “I plan to create ten character notes. However, the next five will not involve mathematics.”
