The newly announced dates come in addition to their previously scheduled shows for 2025, which already include two stops in the UK.

New concert dates in Ireland

Both of the new shows will be held at outdoor venues later this summer. The first concert is set for June 30th at Malahide Castle in Dublin.

The second show will take place in Cork, where Simon Le Bon and the band will headline the city’s Virgin Media Park on July 1st.

At each event, the band will perform alongside special guests Nile Rodgers and his band, Chic. Tickets will be available starting this Friday (January 24) at 10 AM local time.

Upcoming tour schedule

JUNE

JULY

The announcement of these new performances comes after the ’80s pop icons recently wrapped up several shows in the US. To celebrate the end of 2024, the band performed for two nights at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas and welcomed the new year with concerts at the Yaamawa Theater in Highland, California, on January 2 and 3.

Prior to this, the “Hungry Like The Wolf” group also celebrated Halloween 2024 by releasing new material, including the album “Danse Macabre.” They also created covers of notable artists such as Billie Eilish and Talking Heads, later releasing an extended version as well.

In 2023, the band expressed their desire to play at Glastonbury during an interview with NME. Simon Le Bon mentioned, “I’d love to (do it) – we just need to get the right location, that’s all.” He noted that they have had past opportunities, but not on the main stage, emphasizing their interest in performing there.

“I’m sure we’re in talks (with Glastonbury) and if not, we will be,” he added.

The renowned Worthy Farm Festival is set to return in 2025 from June 25 to 29, marking the last event before a year-long hiatus in 2026.

While the line-up hasn’t been confirmed yet, a few artists have already been announced. Rod Stewart is confirmed for the Sunday afternoon Legends slot, and Neil Young will headline the event following a change of heart after initially declining the invitation.

As it was revealed, Nile Rodgers and Chic will also perform at Glastonbury 2025, a fact that the singer unintentionally disclosed while accepting an award last year.

The full festival lineup is typically announced in March, with rumors of other headliners including Olivia Rodrigo, Sam Fender, The 1975, Taylor Swift, and Stevie Wonder.
