Dua Lipa has revealed a special reprint of “Future Nostalgia” to commemorate its fifth anniversary.

The reprint will be available in one yellow vinyl and two traditional black vinyl discs. This 3 LP set includes the original 11 tracks of the album, along with the luxurious publication MoonLight and the remix album ‘Club Future Nostalgia.’

Scheduled for release on March 28, the date coincides almost perfectly with the fifth anniversary of the album’s initial drop. The original album release was originally set for April 3 but was pushed back by a week, aligning with the onset of the first phase of the Covid-19 pandemic. Additionally, the album leak influenced the decision to move up the release date.

Since its debut, “Future Nostalgia” has garnered over 22 billion streams across all platforms globally, making it the 7th most-streamed album in history.

In an interview with NME, Lipa discussed her creative process: “I felt really confident in my lyrical language and worked with close friends (this time), so I wasn’t afraid to be vulnerable in the studio. I knew for sure what I wanted and how to assert myself in the studio and around people.”

Reflecting on the choice to release the album during a time when other artists were delaying their projects, she noted: “I am very glad that everyone has (the album). The response was really good, and I wouldn’t want it to go any other way.”

“Music serves as salvation, and I hope that this music will simply bring a little light and joy, and takes away from what is happening outside.”

A five-star review of “Future Nostalgia” from NME stated: “When she made this album, the musician could not know how terrible the state of the world would be at its release. But this only emphasizes the importance of her achievement. ‘Future Nostalgia’ is a bright, bold collection of pop designed to dance away your anxieties… at least for a while.”

In other news, Lipa expressed her condolences following the “death” of Duolingo’s mascot.

The announcement of the talisman’s death prompted Lipa to say: “We value that you respect Dua Lipa’s confidentiality at present.”

In light of the news, Lipa took to X/Twitter to pay tribute. Sharing the news from Duolingo’s official account, she added the message: “Til ‘Duo Duo,” along with a broken heart emoticon.
