Exciting Surprise Covers
During her concert at the Laver Arena in Melbourne today (March 20), which is part of her ongoing world tour celebrating the release of “Radical Optimism”, Dua Lipa created a buzz among fans. This concert marked the third of four planned shows, following performances on March 17 and 19, with another scheduled for Saturday (22). At today’s performance, the singer caught everyone off guard by covering a hit track from one of Australia’s biggest stars.
“This next part always holds us in the legs, because every night we do something else,” she remarked midway through the show, during the segment where she and her band performed a cover version of a classic pop track.
“This is always exciting, because there are some songs that do not need great meaning,” she added, revealing that the selected track was the Aussie legend Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.”

Upcoming Performances
At the concert yesterday (March 19), in the “Song Surprise of the Show” segment, Dua Lipa performed a cover of Natalie Imbruglia’s “Torn,” while the performance on Monday included the rock classic “Highway to Hell” by AC/DC.
The pop star will continue her tour with another performance in Melbourne on Saturday (22) before heading to the UK for a series of lively concerts this summer, starting with two major shows at Wembley Stadium in London (June 20, 21) and followed by two dates at the Enfield Stadium in Liverpool on June 24 and 25.
Before that, she will tour across Europe, with stops in Paris, Belgium, Milan, Amsterdam, and more. Visit here for tickets in Europe, and here for UK tickets.
These dates follow her headline performance at Glastonbury 2024, and after Lipa announced a special reissue of “Future Nostalgia” to celebrate its fifth anniversary. The vinyl edition will be released on March 28, almost exactly five years after the album’s initial release.
