Dua Lipa’s Tribute to AC/DC
Dua Lipa performed a cover of “Hell in Hell” by AC/DC in Melbourne, Australia – check out the shots from the presentation below.
Kickoff of the Australian Tour
Last night (March 17), Dua Lipa launched her tour in Australia and New Zealand, marking the first of five shows at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. To commemorate the start of her performance, she paid homage to one of Australia’s most iconic bands, rock legends AC/DC.
Opening her set, Dua Lipa electrified the audience with her rendition of “Hell in Hell,” sandwiched between “These Walls” and “Maria.” Presenting the cover, she exclaimed, “I thought, why not perform a new song every night from a local artist? Australia has so many amazing musicians, so we decided to start off with something monumental.”

This summer, the pop sensation will hit the road in the UK, kicking off with two major concerts at the Wembley London Stadium (June 20, 21), followed by two dates at the Enfield Stadium in Liverpool on June 24 and 25. Ahead of these shows, she will tour through Europe, performing in cities such as Paris, Belgium, Milan, Amsterdam, and more. Check out this link for European tickets and this link for UK tickets.
Upcoming Album Release
In other Dua Lipa news, last month it was announced that a special reissue of “Future Nostalgia” will be released in celebration of the album’s fifth anniversary. The vinyl set is set to launch on March 28, nearly five years after the album’s initial debut. Originally slated for release on April 3, the launch was pushed forward a week, coinciding with the onset of the initial COVID-19 lockdowns. The decision to advance the release was also influenced by an album leak.
In December last year, the singer reflected on her headlining performance at Glastonbury 2024, sharing that she “captured as many mental images as (she) could” during the show. In a four-star review of Lipa’s Glastonbury performance, NME praised the set as a “powerful performance to silence critics.”
She added, “I didn’t want this moment to slip away,” addressing the crowd as she expressed, “I can’t get enough of this.”
