Dua Lipa joined Vance Joy for the “Riptide” cover during his recent show in Melbourne—watch the captured moments below.
Highlights from the Melbourne Show
The singer known for “Gudini” completed the Melbourne stage of her Australian tour, revealing that the artist “does not disappear” last night (March 23). She continued her activities, covering Australian artists during the tour, following a surprise appearance by Troye Sivan at the event.
“So, this next song on the set is different every night,” Lipa told the audience in front of Sivan and his entourage, explaining that she features a song from a “local performer.”
The “local artist” was Joy on Sunday evening, an Australian native, who performed his hit from 2013 with Lipa, who described the track as “possibly one of my favorite songs” during her introduction.
In response, Joy later took to Instagram to praise Lipa as a “legend,” expressing that they were all “amazed and felt the energy she radiated.”

Lipa’s tour supports her album “Radical Optimism,” released last summer. During previous performances in Melbourne this month, she also paid tribute to “I Can’t Get You Out of My Head” by Kylie Minogue and “Torn” by Natalie Imbruglia.
After wrapping up in Australia, Lipa will head to the UK for more high-energy performances this summer, starting with two massive concerts at Wembley Stadium in London (June 20, 21), followed by two dates at the Enfield Stadium in Liverpool on June 24 and 25.
Before that, she will embark on a European tour across cities like Paris, Belgium, Milan, and Amsterdam. Visit here for European tickets and here for British tickets.
These dates follow her major headline appearance at Glastonbury 2024, and Lipa has also announced a special re-release of “Future Nostalgia” to celebrate its fifth anniversary. The vinyl set will be launched on March 28, almost exactly five years after the album’s initial release.
Meanwhile, Sivan is set to join Charli XCX for her headline performance at Primavera Sound this summer in Barcelona. The Brat star tops the bill alongside Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter, which Charli has dubbed the “Holy Trinity.”
