Celebrating Five Years of “Future Nostalgia”

Last month, Lipa announced a special reissue of “Future Nostalgia” to celebrate its fifth anniversary. The vinyl set was made available today (March 28), nearly five years after its initial release.

As part of the “Physical” reissue, a remix was introduced, which now features an entirely new verse from Troy Sivan that was not present in the original track.

In his verse, Sivan sings: “We border on the verge of spiritual / are you deeper than you thought, is this a miracle / you disagree? / Can you believe? / Baby, I can love you all night / if you ask me – I could / baby, feel the taste / not sleep until early morning, yes / my final fantasy“.

Exciting Performances and Upcoming Tours

The remix was first hinted at last week (March 22) when Dua Lipa featured Sivan as a special guest during one of her five shows in Melbourne, Australia. Although the duo did not perform the song together—instead performing Sivan’s “Rush”—they surprised the audience with a lucky USB containing the remix of “Physical.”

In a glowing five-star review of “Future Nostalgia,” NME’s Ryan Daily remarked: “When she created this album, the musician could not have predicted how dire the world would become. But this only amplifies the significance of her accomplishment.”

Following her Australian tour, Lipa will head to the UK for more energetic performances this summer, beginning with two major concerts at Wembley Stadium in London on June 20 and 21, followed by two shows at the Enfield Stadium in Liverpool on June 24 and 25.
