Simple Things Festival has revealed the first wave of artists for its 11th edition, set to take place in various locations across Bristol city center on November 8.
Artist Lineup
The 2025 event will be headlined by Dry Cleaning, targeting the Bristol Mayak audience. The lineup will also feature These New Puritans, Tunde Adebimpe’s radio TV performing solo material, alongside electronic artist MeatField.
The festival will utilize multiple venues around Bristol, including five stages at Bristol Beacon, Bristol Megaskrin, Strange Bruce, Sports, Gross Trade, and Christmas Steps. Other confirmed acts include Factory Floor, Orielles, Rich (ARD) Dawson, Jawnino, and Iglooghost.
Matthew Eitken, the programmer at Bristol Beacon, stated: “Simple Things has always been about elevating innovative talent, spotlighting artists who push boundaries and challenge norms. For 2025, we’ve curated a lineup that embodies energy, creativity, and the unfiltered essence of what makes modern music so thrilling right now.”
“Every year brings fresh inspiration that makes Simple Things an engaging experience,” added Thomas Frost, co-founder and director at Crack Magazine. “Collaborating on the lineup represents what we stand for at Crack Magazine, creating an essential package that resonates with our mission.”
The festival will also feature selections from Ugandan Label Nyege Nyege Tapes and former world champion Steve Davis, who will curate acts and perform a DJ set.
