New venue announcement
The team behind nightclubs in London, Drum and Printed Products, is set to open a new venue for 2,000 people in South London.
Location and features
The establishment will be situated on the site of a shopping center in Surrey – Caes, ROTERIT. The venue received approval from the Suitoir Council Planning Committee on February 5, following plans submitted by British Land developers in collaboration with Broadwick.
This 50,000 square foot space will serve as a cultural center offering co-working areas, live music, and dining options. Notably, it will also house what is described as the largest vertical farm in London, with its produce used across all food offerings.
British Land confirmed that, although the venue has a permit to operate until 3 a.m. on weekends, it does not plan to host regular club nights. The space will feature both live music and DJ ticketed events.
The announcement comes in light of recent updates regarding other venues operated by the team. Drumsheds recently retained its license after a review, with new security measures in place. Meanwhile, Printworks, which closed in May last year, has received approval for reconstruction following initial plans to convert the space into offices.
