Khaled’s Announcement and Video Details

Rumors about their joint efforts surfaced earlier this week when Khaled announced his upcoming 14-track album “Aalam of God.” The news was accompanied by a cinematic trailer featuring guest appearances from Anthony Ramos and Mark Walberg.

In the video, Walberg suggested that the album would include “two new Drake songs,” leading fans to speculate about their collaboration.

However, shortly after the video went live on Khaled’s Instagram, the Canadian rapper swiftly addressed the rumors, stating, “It must be @drakebell,” referring to the American actor and musician known for his role in Drake & Josh.

Soon after his comment, Khaled deleted the post from his social media accounts.

As of now, it remains unclear why the promo video hinted at Drake’s involvement, and he has not made any further comments regarding his participation in the album.

Collaborations and Future Releases

Additionally, the video hinted at possible collaborations with Rihanna and Jay-Z, though neither artist has confirmed this yet.

Drake and Khaled have previously collaborated, with contributions appearing on seven out of 13 of DJ Khaled’s albums (according to Complex). Their most recent works include the tracks “Hail Khaled” and “God Did.”

Just days after discussing this potential collaboration, it was announced that the rapper behind “Hotline Bling” would be working with another artist on a new album. On Monday (February 3), it was reported that he and Partynextdoor are set to release an LP titled “$Exy $GS 4 U” next week.

This announcement came after Drake alluded to the collaboration during a performance in Toronto last summer, stating, “On behalf of me and the party, we worked on something for you.”

“When it gets a bit cold, (a) the PartynextDoor and Drake album will be waiting for you right here.”

This record will be Drake’s first release of 2023 after “For All the Dogs,” which received a three-star review from NME. Shortly before the album’s drop, Drake announced he would take a break from music to focus on his health. Fans are hopeful for his return, as “For All The Dogs,” his third solo project, has received mixed reactions, with some critics noting it sounds both tired and tiresome.

In other news, Dennis Graham, Drake’s father, recently commented on Kendrick Lamar’s 2025 Grammy nomination for “Not Like Us,” a diss track aimed at his son.

As for DJ Khaled, it seems that Drake is not the only artist he is looking to collaborate with. Reports indicate that he has been working with K-Pop boy band Seventeen for their new mini-album titled “Spill Feelings.”
