Tribute Performance Details
The pop star spoke at the 97th Oscar Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (March 2) during a tribute to James Bond, which featured her singing alongside Ray and Lisa of Blackpink.
The sequence opened with Substance star Margaret Qualley dancing in a choreographed number, followed by Lisa illuminating the stage with Paul McCartney. Doja then performed a rendition of the classic “Diamonds” by Shirley Bassey before Ray concluded the piece with a cover of Adele’s “Skyfall.”
The entire performance garnered mixed reactions on social media, and in an Instagram post on Monday (March 3), Doja seemed to acknowledge that she was not entirely satisfied with her performance.
