Charlie XCX’s Coachella Weekend Performance

Charlie XCX’s Coachella Weekend Two Performance showcased her shout-outs to several artists and featured Addison Rae in an unexpected performance of their remix “Von Dutch.” Check this out below.

Surprising Collaborations

Last week, the singer joined a handful of artists featured on the album “Brat” Remix “Brat and completely different, but still Brat,” with Lorde, Troye Sivan, and Billie Eilish surprising the audience.

During her return to the festival last night (April 19), Charlie invited Rae for a lively rendition of their remix “Von Gollandic,” which also involved AG Cook. The updated remix featured lines like: “I just live this life / while you are sitting in the basement of your father / argue, you are disappointed that I am Shinin”Field.

This performance followed Rae’s announcement of her album’s release date at the festival last weekend during the ARCA set, confirming her debut EP will drop on June 6th.

As the set concluded, Charlie appeared to pass the torch from the “Brat” of the summer of 2024 to many other artists, with the screen behind her displaying names like “Lorde,” Ethel Cain, Chaim, Rosalia, Ternishtal, Kali Uchis, Pinpointer, Pulpa, and Summer Genius, among others.

This was followed by her messages last week, expressing: “Many thanks to Coachella. Does this mean that summer is finally over?”

As the lights dimmed, the screen lit up with the message: “Please do not let it end.”

In other weekend highlights, AG Cook brought Kesha as a guest for “Yippee Ki Yay,” while Lady Gaga faced technical issues, which she humorously addressed with fans regarding her live singing. Additionally, Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day surprised everyone during their performance slot, seemingly dispelling rumors of any tension between him and Charlie after fans took to social media.
