Combs’ Lawyers Claim Innocence

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ attorneys assert that the videos demonstrate the rapper’s “innocence” by depicting “consenting adults.”

Following their review of the videos featuring the hip-hop star’s “kinks,” which apparently showcase a sexual relationship involving the rapper, a woman, and male sex workers, lawyers Mark Agnifilo and Teni Geragos stated they would “affirm Mr. Combs’ innocence” based on the evidence of mutual consent among “consenting adults.”

“Contrary to the beliefs held by the government, the Court, and the general public, the so-called ‘freaks’ were engaged in private sexual activity between adults involved in a long-term relationship,” they explained, as cited in ABC News.

The nine videos, which the defense is now permitted to access, have been referred to by prosecution lawyers as “elaborate and fabricated sexual performances.” Prosecutors claim the “freaks” serve as evidence that Combs coerced, drugged, and abducted women for sexual acts and hired sex workers to participate.

Combs’ legal team reviewed the materials under law enforcement supervision on November 20 and December 13, 2024, as per court filings from January 14.

In the civil suit, Ventura accused Combs of “regularly beating and kicking” her, resulting in black eyes, bruises, and blood. It depicted “freaks” as drug-influenced, multi-day sexual performances where the rapper allegedly coerced individuals into participation while filming the acts.

Nevertheless, Combs’ defense team contested these claims. “These videos clearly show that the person identified in the indictment as ‘Victim 1’ not only consented, but also thoroughly enjoyed herself,” they stated.

“Essentially, this case revolves around whether Victim-1 was a willing participant in her private sexual life with Mr. Combs. The videos confirm that she truly was,” they added.

Combs has refuted all allegations through his legal representatives. He has faced multiple bail refusals, with the initial denial occurring after he proposed a bail amount of $50 million (£40.1 million). Subsequently, he was reportedly placed on suicide watch.
