Dennis Reese Named SVP of Radio Marketing and Promotion at Sony Music Nashville

Dennis Reese’s New Role

Dennis Reese has been appointed as the senior vice president of radio marketing and promotion at Sony Music Nashville (SMN).

In his new role, Riz will oversee the development and implementation of strategic advertising plans for the RCA Nashville and Columbia Nashville imprints.

This appointment follows Taylor Lindsay’s recent promotion to chairman and general director of Sony Music Nashville, effective January 2025.

Lindsay will succeed Randy Goodman, who, as announced in September, will retire at the end of 2024 after a remarkable 35-year career in the music industry.

Reporting Structure

Riz will report directly to both Taylor Lindsay, chairman and general director, and Ken Robold, president and chief operating officer.

Reese’s tenure with the company begins on February 14.

Over the past year, he worked with Neon Coast, supporting a roster that includes Kane Brown, Restless Road, At Night, Dylan Schneider, and Kat Luna.

Prior to this, Reese spent seven years at RCA Nashville, where he oversaw releases that achieved 24 No. 1 hits.

He joined RCA Nashville after successfully launching artists in pop music with Epic Records, Capitol Music Group, Elektra Records, and Columbia Records.

Statement from Taylor Lindsay

Commenting on Riz’s appointment, Lindsay said: “We are thrilled to welcome Dennis to the company.”

“SMN remains dedicated to advancing our artists on the radio, and we trust that Dennis will continue to drive success for our artists daily.”
