Working on New Track
In a recent interview with the Chicago radio station Q101, the Rock and Metal vocalist revealed that the group is developing a track that “needs a strong rapper to elevate it” with elements of “go this way” or “bring noise.”
You can find a link to Quick Mash-Up Q101 Holder Brian Huddad from earlier this month. Draiman shared: “You know what? In fact, this is what we have been considering. And Kendrick is certainly near the top of our list.”

The Draiman further elaborated: “We have this track. It’s part of the new material we are working on for our upcoming album … we are focusing on unity. It’s all about bringing people together. We need a strong rapper, whoever it may be, and Kendrick would undoubtedly be an incredible collaborator. I would love to make it happen. We would love to do this.”
Later, the concerned frontman reached out to Kendrick: “Kendrick, if you’re interested at all, let’s create something impactful. Let’s show everyone that we have more in common than what divides us. Let’s elevate our craft together. I would really like to do this.”
Kendrick’s Response and Political Views
Draiman also mentioned attempting to contact Kendrick Lamar via Instagram comments but was uncertain if Lamar had seen them or replied.
Currently, it remains unclear if Draiman’s political views have affected Lamar’s lack of response. Recently, Kendrick praised a dancer who raised the Palestinian flag during his Super Bowl performance, which has sparked a mix of reactions, especially given Draiman’s history of making pro-Israel statements despite claiming he “doesn’t care” if his views alienate others.
Kendrick Lamar made an appearance during the Super Bowl shortly after winning five awards at the 2025 Grammys, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for his track “Drake Diss: Not Like Us.” Following his performance, it was noted that the track’s streams surged by 430 percent.
After the performance, Kendrick Lamar and SZA, who joined him at the Super Bowl, added two more dates to their “Great National Tour of the Stadium 2025”: one in London and another in Paris. You can check the full list of dates and purchase tickets here.
In another context, Kid Rock shared his thoughts on Lamar’s break during the Super Bowl, stating that while he “respects” it, he believes it is “the epitome of DEI exploding.”
