David Bowie and Iman Lexi Jones Release Debut Album

David Bowie and daughter Iman Lexi Jones have quietly unveiled their debut album “Xandri”. Check this below.

Album Details and Artwork

The LP was released on Wednesday (April 2) after weeks of anticipation, during which Jones shared snippets of various tracks on her Instagram account, including “Stand Says,” “Moving Further,” and “All the Time,” accompanied by childhood video clips.

Spanning 12 songs and 47 minutes, the album features genres like Pop, Electronic, and Indie Rock, prominently showcasing 24-year-old Jones’ vocals.

The artwork, presumably created by Jones, who is also a visual artist, portrays two faces connected to the same head, attempting to drift apart. Additionally, the title “Xandri” is derived from a Greek name meaning “protector of mankind”.

Legacy and Upcoming Experience

Bowie passed away on January 10, 2016, after privately battling cancer for 18 months. His 26th and final studio album, “Blackstar,” was released on his 69th birthday, just two days before his death (January 8).

His legacy will be celebrated in the new immersive experience in London called “Live Odyssey,” set to begin in May 2025 in Camden. “Live Odyssey” has been previously described as “the celebration of the rich tapestry of British music, offering a unique experience for lovers of music of all ages” through “innovative echoes of the sounds that shaped Britain.”
