Damiano David has unveiled a new single titled 'Next summer' that comes with a music video filmed in an Italian prison.

This track is the third release from David’s debut solo project, following his earlier singles “Born with a Broken Heart” and “Silver Lines.” The music video delves into themes of inner turmoil, portraying David in the role of a captive.
“At first listen, the song reflects on young love—an unreciprocated summer romance,” David explains. “However, on a deeper level, it serves as a broader commentary on life; it illustrates how we can sometimes confine ourselves with our fears, uncertainties, and unwillingness to change. We may struggle to view the world and our lives from a different perspective during pivotal moments.”

The Italian singer-songwriter recently made his solo television debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where he performed his first two singles. Additionally, he provided a cover of Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus’ “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” for a special Valentine’s Day Spotify release.
