d4vd Unveils New Intimate Single “Where’d It Go Wrong?”

New single marks a new era

d4vd has released a new single, “Where did it all go wrong?”, signifying the start of a new chapter for the Houston artist.

Recording process returns to roots

The song was recorded in the closet of d4vd’s childhood home using BandLab and his iPhone, harkening back to the methods that led to his early successes with “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.”

“I spent the past year recording in Los Angeles studios, collaborating with top producers and going on writing trips, but for ‘Where’d It Go Wrong?’ I returned to my home in Houston and recorded on Bandlab, which I haven’t done much of recently,” d4vd explains.

“This process truly took me back to my roots in music. It’s one of my favorite songs I’ve written in a long time, and it reminded me why I’ve always cherished making music independently.”

Performance at The Game Awards 2024

This release comes after d4vd’s performance at The Game Awards 2024, where he showcased “Remember Me” alongside Twenty One Pilots and Royal & The Serpent.
