New Single Release and Upcoming Tour Announcement
Coheed and Cambria have shared their latest single, “Someone Who Can,” and announced a joint US tour with Taking Back Sunday. Find all the details below.
The new track, unveiled today (January 14), is the latest preview of the band’s upcoming album, The Father Of Make Believe. The album, which is set to release on March 14 via Virgin Music Group, will include previously released singles “Blind Side Sonny” and “Searching For Tomorrow.” You can pre-order it here.
On their latest album, “Someone Who Can,” the band evokes an uplifting sentiment and reflects on how their experiences have genuinely guided them to where they wish to be.
“This is us / The magic ends, we lose touch / All or nothing floats along the bottom“, sings main songwriter and lead guitarist Claudio Sanchez over an upbeat riff leading into the chorus. “No time to look back / Straight as arrows / Towards the light at the end of the road.“
“As you grow up, you’re always trying to understand the world that evolves around you,” the frontman shared, explaining the inspiration for the track. “Eventually, it becomes a comfort to recognize that you will never completely grasp everything.”
