Coheed and Cambria have shared their latest single, “Someone Who Can,” and announced a joint US tour with Taking Back Sunday. Find all the details below.

The new track, unveiled today (January 14), is the latest preview of the band’s upcoming album, The Father Of Make Believe. The album, which is set to release on March 14 via Virgin Music Group, will include previously released singles “Blind Side Sonny” and “Searching For Tomorrow.” You can pre-order it here.

On their latest album, “Someone Who Can,” the band evokes an uplifting sentiment and reflects on how their experiences have genuinely guided them to where they wish to be.

This is us / The magic ends, we lose touch / All or nothing floats along the bottom“, sings main songwriter and lead guitarist Claudio Sanchez over an upbeat riff leading into the chorus. “No time to look back / Straight as arrows / Towards the light at the end of the road.

“As you grow up, you’re always trying to understand the world that evolves around you,” the frontman shared, explaining the inspiration for the track. “Eventually, it becomes a comfort to recognize that you will never completely grasp everything.”

Co-Heading Tour with Taking Back Sunday

In addition to the latest teaser for “The Father Of Make Believe,” Coheed and Cambria have announced details of their North American co-headlining tour with Taking Back Sunday.

The 25-date tour will take place this summer, supported by Foxing. It kicks off on August 16th with a concert at Music Park in St. Louis, Missouri. The shows will continue throughout the month with stops in Indianapolis, Chicago, Minneapolis, Toronto, Detroit, Philadelphia, and more.

The second leg of the tour will commence in September, starting with a show at the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina. Other dates include performances in Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, Seattle, and other cities. Click here for tickets and more information.
