Album Announcement
Coco Jones announced her debut album “Why No More?” which is set to be released on April 25 through High Standardz/Def Jam Recordings.
Featured Singles
The album will feature the previously released singles “The Most Beautiful Design,” “Sweep It Up,” and the Grammy-nominated “Here We Go (UH-OH).” Along with the announcement, Jones shared the new single “Taste,” created by Stargate and Jasper Harris. This track samples Britney Spears’ “Toxic” and is accompanied by a video shot by Ava Ricky.
The announcement follows the recent success of Jones at the Grammy Awards, where she won Best R&B Performance for “ICU.” The artist garnered a total of seven Grammy nominations, including five nominations last year for Best New Artist. This year, her track “Here We Go (UH-OH)” is nominated for R&B Performance of the Year and Best R&B Song.
Career Highlights
Jones signed with High Standardz/Def Jam in 2022, releasing the EP “What I Didn’t Tell You,” which included the certified platinum single “ICU.” This track reached number one on the Airplay R&B Billboard chart. Jones also received the Best New Artist awards at The BET Awards, The Soul Train Awards, and the NAACP Image Awards.
In addition to her music career, Jones continues her role as Hilary Banks in the series “Bel-Air,” which has been renewed for a fourth season. She recently completed production on the romantic comedy “This Is Her,” where she serves both as a star and an executive producer.
