Cliffords Unveils EP “Salt of the Lee” Alongside New Single “Dungarvan Bay”

Cliffords Announces New EP

Cliffords has revealed details regarding their upcoming EP, 'Lee Hon', set to release on May 30 via Soil to Sun Records. In conjunction with this announcement, the band has released a new track titled “Bay Dangarkan.”

Evolution of Their Sound

Their previous EP, Cork-Administration, succeeded their independent debut from last year and marks their first collaboration with producer Richie Kennedy from London Battery Studii. This new release, which features their recent single “Bittersweet”, signifies a substantial step outside their home country of Ireland.

Meaning Behind “Gulf of Düngarvan”

Commenting on the song “Gulf of Düngarvan,” vocalist Iona Lynch shared: “Dangarkan – Zaliv is a song about grief growth. Two years ago, my friend from college passed away, marking our first encounter with grief. The first half of the song was penned just a week after his passing when I felt engulfed in sadness. The second half captures the journey of growth that followed.”
