Chloe Moriono Unveils New Song “Abyss,” a Celebration of Freedom

New Single Release

Chloe Moriono has unveiled a new single, ‘Abyss’, just ahead of their forthcoming album “Oyster,” set to be released on March 28 through Public Consumption / Atlantic Musical Group.

Exploring Themes of Freedom

The track showcases how Moriono delves into themes of freedom and emotional liberation, following prior singles “Hate It” and “Shoreline,” both of which will feature on the highly-anticipated 13-track album.

“Abyss” addresses a wild defiance, the thrill of kissing strangers, and responding to the allure of emptiness. “I wrote this when I was exhausted from overthinking and processing emotions; I just wanted to party,” Moriono shares.

The album “Oyster” was produced with contributions from talented individuals, including John Summerfield, Chloe Kramer, and Post-Chairs. To celebrate its release, several events will be held in New York, including a conversation and performance at the 92Y Buttenwieser Hall, alongside a signing at Rough Trade.
