Check Out The Weeknd’s Latest Spotify Concert Film, “Billions Club”

New Concert Film Featuring The Weeknd

Spotify has unveiled a fresh concert film starring Billions Club member The Weeknd – watch it below.

A Remarkable Achievement

In 2024, The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) shattered Spotify records and earned the title of the most awarded Billions Club artist in history. To be part of the prestigious Billions Club, an artist must achieve one billion Spotify streams on a single track. Tesfaye currently leads with an impressive 25 songs that have crossed the billion mark.

To commemorate this milestone, The Weeknd and Spotify collaborated to host the inaugural invitation-only Billions Club Live concert in December, held in a historic hangar in California. The complete performance was released as a concert film via Spotify last night (January 7).

Set for release on January 24, 2025, “Hurry Up Tomorrow” will complete the trilogy of The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” album series, following 2020’s “After Hours” and “Dawn FM.”

The artist has shared teasers for the album, including his previous collaboration with Playboi Carti titled “Timeless,” co-produced by Pharrell, alongside a new track called “Dancing In The Flames,” released back in September. He has also hinted at unreleased songs, such as “Wake Me Up,” “Take Me Back To LA,” and “Open Hearts.”

Tesfaye recently unveiled the album cover on his social media, which showcases a close-up shot of his face—a notable change from the facial prosthetics used during the “After Hours” era. “Hurry Up Tomorrow” is available for pre-order Here, with options for exclusive vinyl, box sets, and signed CDs.
