Cyrus has been teasing her new album in recent weeks, updating her social media profiles with images that highlight her silhouette. Fans have also reported seeing posters for “Something Beautiful” scattered around the globe.
Earlier, she hinted that the album would draw inspiration from Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’. “We really leaned into that. I have a personal connection to it. My vision was to create a ‘wall’ of my own, enhanced by a glamorous wardrobe and more infusions of pop culture,” she shared.
She describes the atmosphere of her album as “hypnotizing and glamorous,” stating, “This is a conceptual album aiming to address the ailing culture through music.”
This album will follow the “Endless Summer Holidays” released in 2023, which NME rated four stars, saying: “The album demands your full attention, even if it might not be the boldest or most visionary work. ‘But don’t forget, baby, I am a substantive sign’—in this line from track three, you will certainly believe her.”
