Kendrick Lamar and SZA have unveiled a new video for their collaboration “Luther”.

About the Track and the Artists’ Upcoming Tour

This track is part of Lamar’s latest album, GNX, which dropped in November of last year.

The video was directed by Karena Evans, known for her work with Drake and Coldplay. It concludes with the original version of Luther Vandross’s “If This World Was Mine,” which was selected for the song. You can watch it below.

The duo recently showcased the track along with their previous collaboration “All Stars” during the halftime of the Lamara Super Cup at the beginning of this year.

Critical Acclaim for GNX

In a glowing five-star review, NME reporter Kyann-Sian Williams stated: “Lamar channels what can be viewed as hatred and negativity into a reflective moment, compelling you to rely on the purest emotions known to humanity: love. In a year that began with such significant toxicity, Kendrick Lamar distributes the antidote through GNX.”

The rapper’s track “Does Not Look Like Us” also secured the coveted second spot in NME‘s list of the 50 best songs of 2024. The review noted that the single is “packed with intellect, profoundly examining the character’s murders in a fierce, fast-paced club hit, although his wild, accusatory wordplay captured headlines, this was a screening of Lamar’s response to Drake as ‘Colonizer,’ which truly underscored his raw vitriol.”

The recording was also one of the highest-selling vinyl albums of 2025.
