Black Keys Release New Single
Black Keys have unveiled their new single “Babygirl.” Check it out below.
Upcoming Album Details
This release follows their earlier single, “The Night The Night,” serving as the second preview of their 13th studio album titled “No Rain, No Flowers.” This album is set to debut at the end of this year through Easy Eye Sound/Warner.
The track is a euphoric love song built around an impressive piano riff, which encapsulates the band’s signature sound. They collaborated on this piece with Grammy-nominated songwriter Daniel Tashian and acclaimed producer Scott Storch.
The group reflects on the collaboration, stating: “We were captivated by Scott’s prolific output and his body of work over the years. Working with him in the studio and witnessing his mastery over our collection of vintage keyboards was incredibly inspiring. He is undeniably one of the greats.”

Tour Information and Reviews
The upcoming “No Rain, No Flowers” will follow their 2024 album “Ohio Players” and is described as “particularly personal for Black Keys.” This development comes after the duo had to cancel their North America tour in 2024 due to an “emotional dispute with their former management company.”
The album description states: “With a fresh perspective, the duo has hit the reset button and crafted their most ambitious and adventurous work to date.”
This summer in 2025, Black Keys will perform three open-air shows in the UK, including Millennium Square in Leeds, Castlefield Bowl in Manchester, and Alexander Palace Park in London. The group will also be on the road across Europe and headline shows throughout the United States.
Supporting the UK dates will be Miles Kane. You can Find the remaining tickets here (UK) and Here (US).
In a three-star review of Black Keys’ “Ohio Players,” NME acknowledged their guest collaborators, including Noel Gallagher, Beck, and Jack J. The review mentioned, “Playing music with all your influences isn’t radical; it’s what most musicians do, and a cornerstone of any scene in any city globally, which is what listeners can reasonably expect from Ohio Players.”
“Rather, this is a solid album by Black Keys that highlights how much they remain rooted in their unique process.”
Patrick Carney spoke to NME in 2023 and reminisced about working with the “incredible” Gallagher in the studio. “He’s cheerful and immensely talented,” he noted. “We referred to him as ‘Lord-Akord’ because he’s such a perfectionist.”
In other news, the duo has attributed their cancelled 2024 tour to their management’s decisions, standing by their choice to perform select concerts.
