Details of the Upcoming Release
The new track, available through Warner, is among the first releases from the band since they dropped their substantial album Reckback ‘from Zero’ last year.
This album marked a significant moment following the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington and introduces Emily Armstrong from Sarah as the group’s new singer. The latest single is part of the upcoming deluxe edition of LP, set to be released on May 16 (Pre-order here).
This release will feature three new tracks along with five live renditions of songs performed during the group’s extensive live shows in recent months.
As per the new details, the song was composed during the band’s large-scale “From Zero World Tour” and captures the same intensity experienced on stage. True to the essence of LP, it showcases a wall of powerful riffs, thunderous drums, and unmistakable vocals from Armstrong.

The track was first teased earlier this month when DJ/producer Joe Khan referred to it as “the best song that we did when we did.” He also claimed it to be the “Best Music Video” Linkin Park has created to date.
Tour Dates and Performances
Live performances are set to continue across North America before the band heads abroad for their European and UK tour dates. This includes a significant stop at Wembley Stadium on June 28. Check out all the announced tour dates here for UK tickets, and here for international tickets.

From Scratch received a three-star review from NME, which described the album as an “intriguing mix of sensational stadium rock and some tired songwriting.”
“It’s crucial to view From Scratch as a reset, as its name suggests, paying homage to the band’s original name: Xero,” the review states. “Thus, any comparisons with their extensive discography should consider the roots from which From Zero emerged: the shared desire of Brad Delson, Dave Farrell, Joe Hahn, and Mike Shinoda to create together as Linkin Park.”
