Lady Gaga delivered a captivating rendition of the classic Christmas song “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” alongside Apple Music’s Zane Lowe.

Star-studded Karaoke Session

The pop icon was among the three guests featured on Apple TV’s Christmas karaoke in the car, which made its surprise debut last night (December 15). Gaga collaborated with Lowe, as well as fellow guests Chappelle Rohan and Dua Lipa, to perform both festive classics and her own popular tracks.

Her segment culminated in a karaoke duet with AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson on the band’s 1979 hit “Highway To Hell.” Gaga also shared that she was an extra in the band’s music video for “Stiff Upper Lip,” before delivering a jazz-rock version of the 1934 holiday favorite “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.”

Gaga’s energetic, powerful, and soulful performance showcased her remarkable vocal talent while Lowe strummed the song’s chords on guitar. Check out a clip of the performance below.

Upcoming Music and Projects

In addition to her Christmas special performance, Gaga also sang Led Zeppelin’s “Black Dog” and discussed her recent collaboration with Bruno Mars on “Die With A Smile,” which she recorded during her breaks for her forthcoming album “LG7.”

The release of her holiday cover comes after the introduction of her dramatic new single “Disease,” the first glimpse into the singer’s eagerly awaited new album. Although details about the record remain scarce, fans have affectionately called it “LG7,” anticipating its arrival in February next year.

“Disease” marked Lady Gaga’s return to pop music and serves as a follow-up to “Harlequin,” the companion album for her film Joker: Folie à Deux.

Speaking about her upcoming album, she recently shared with Rolling Stone that “Disease” felt like “a path into the chaos of the album, sort of an exercise in chaos – different sides of who I am as a person.”
