About The Track
The song features the band’s signature blend of experimental synthesizer rhythms and heavily auto-tuned vocals by Casablancas: “And in the name of our Lord and the Savior
We fight each other / like two brothers / father forgive me for intifada / too many children / dead as their mother,” illustrating the conflict.
Blue Demon was previewed on the group’s official Instagram account, showcasing a couple of AI-generated posts. The first video features a news reporter reading a letter from Tron Cole, the group’s former social media manager, who hinted at the release of their new music.

As stated in the press release, this track serves as the initial taste of the forthcoming EP titled Doidz, which is set to be released later this spring. “Blue Demon” marks their first new music since their third and final album, 2024’s “Like All You.”
Upcoming Performances
Additionally, The Voidz will perform at the Les Inrocks festival in Paris tomorrow (March 5), followed by a one-time concert at Troxy in London on Saturday (March 8). Both events have been dubbed as “two nights of chaos and transcendence” in their press release.
“These upcoming shows promise to deliver a unique blend of Voidz’s ‘uncomfortable energy,’ genre-bending soundscapes, and captivating performances that have become hallmarks of their live experience,” the statement adds. A special guest will join them at both concerts.
