Insights from the Band

In a conversation with NME last October, bassist Robert Kint shared how the group ventured into new musical territory for their third album.

He stated: “Collaborating with producer Tom Hall (Kid Harpoon), we began to think: ‘How can we do something a little different?’ This exploration led us to incorporate an entrance keyboard part in “Your House,” which redefined the song and gave us a fresh perspective.”

“He also suggested bringing Gospel singers on board, and this was one of the tracks where it worked remarkably well.”

Kint continued, “We’ve definitely improved in our songwriting. Working with a new producer for the first time put us under pressure to bring our ‘A’ game, which was beneficial. Just knowing we had to excel and be the best versions of ourselves made a significant impact.”

Husson added: “He came from outside our circle and was a fresh listener; he didn’t know us at all.”

“Open Wide” will follow up “Cuts & Bruises” from 2023 and their debut album from 2021, “It Won’t Always Be Like This.” Tomorrow, Inhaler will headline a show in the UK, including the ANSHIA-Show at the O2 Brixton Academy in London. They will then embark on a European tour supporting Flowers.
