A three-time Grammy Award-winning artist, Charli released her sixth album “Brat” last year, which received critical acclaim. After the release of Brat, Charli experienced a significant surge in popularity, resulting in successful arena tours, including a collaboration with Troye Sivan. She also showcased her dual talents as both a performer and host on Saturday Night Live, earning praise from fans for her comedic timing and performance skills.

During a conversation with GramMys.com, Cook discussed whether he and Charli had talked about the new material, responding: “Not really, we just chat freely about things. For Charli, the genesis of ideas can be quite impulsive, and I think you need some space for that.”

Keane added, “When I spoke with Charli, there was a desire to create something completely opposite, which aligns with her spirit. Some conversations we’ve had and the music we’ve been playing over the past few months are entirely different.”

“I love this spirit. It’s an iconoclastic impulse to express something completely different, showcasing the other side of your talent,” he continued.

He emphasized that while the continuation of her sixth LP may not be entirely “anti-Brait,” he is “very optimistic and excited” about what lies ahead.

“It was quite amusing—within a few months after the Remix album ended, any musical discussions that happened seemed to veer towards anti-Brait,” Kin remarked. “I’m not sure if that will stick, but it’s been fascinating to observe, and I remain very optimistic and excited about what’s next.”
