Charlie Puth’s Upcoming Album Release
Charlie Puth has announced that his next album will debut in early 2025.
While the artist recently dropped a new Christmas single titled “December 25th,” inspired by Wham!’s classic “Last Christmas,” he has now disclosed the timeline for a more extensive release.
In a recent Q&A, when asked about the release of his next full-length album, Puth stated, “Best album next year. So not five years, not four years, next year. I’m contractually obligated to release something next year, so.”
This forthcoming record will follow up on “Charlie,” which was released in 2022.

Response to Taylor Swift’s Praise
Earlier this year, Puth attracted attention after he praised Taylor Swift’s album “The Tortured Poets Department.”
In the album’s title track, Swift sings: You smoked and then ate seven chocolate bars. We said Charlie Puth should be a big artist.
In response to the song, Puth expressed his gratitude towards Swift, acknowledging her influence in inspiring him to write “one of the hardest songs” he’s ever created.
“My new song ‘HERO’ is about watching someone you love hurt themselves, ruining everything good in their life, but you just can’t save them. This is one of the hardest songs I’ve ever had to write, but I wrote it in hopes that you’ve been through something similar in your life and that it can fill a VOID for you like it did for me.
“I’m really excited to share my next album with you, especially this song because it perfectly encapsulates what’s to come. I’ve never released a song like this before – it’s very different for me, but I want to thank Taylor Swift for letting me know musically that I just couldn’t keep it on my hard drive anymore. Thank you to all my fans – you will never know how much you mean to me…”
The online community reacted to the name’s mention, with one user commenting: “We said Charlie Puth should be a big artist. is really the last thing I thought I’d ever hear Taylor Swift sing in a Taylor Swift song.”
This summer, Puth also collaborated with Stray Kids on a single titled “Lose My Breath,” which was described as a “warm-up” for the group’s impending Korean album.
