About the Series
The series, which premiered on May 15, stars internet comedian Benito Skinner as Bennie, a former high school football player who befriends an outsider to fit in. The official trailer features a montage of scenes that showcase sexual situations, college party chaos, and a climactic moment involving the artist’s brother.
In a brief yet intense scene, she berates a shocking assistant, exclaiming: “Do you think I want to play damn ‘blissfully’ in a damn college? There are jokes!” The guest artist appears as a comedic version of himself and also serves as an executive producer for the show.
Excessive Compensation features performances by Kyle MacLachlan, Connie Britton, and Kaya Gerber, along with Hollywood star Jonah Hill also on board as an executive producer. Amazon has teamed up with Cult Studio A24 to produce the series.

Upcoming Projects
Riding high in 2024, as fans dub her the “Brat Summer,” Charlie XCX is making waves. She has lent her voice to Angry Birds Film and UglyDolls in the past, and appears in the 2021 reboot of Gossip.
Among her numerous upcoming projects, she is set to star in her first major role in He Is the Moment, a film centering around the pop star as she prepares for her first headlining tour. Also created by A24, the film is being directed by her colleague Alexander Skarsgård and recently commenced shooting in London.
In other news, Lily Allen expressed her surprise upon hearing that Charlie XCX had not secured a headlining spot at Glastonbury 2025.
