Charlie XCX Begins Filming

Charlie XCX has started shooting her upcoming A24 film “The Moment” in London, with four new actors joining the production.

New Members of the Cast

Rish Shah, Isaac Cole Powell, Kate Berlant, and Jamie Demetrio have been added to the project, alongside previously announced actors Alexander Skarsgard, Rosanna Arquette, and Mallen Tryu.

The film, stemming from an original concept by Charli XCX, will feature the pop star in a lead role and will be produced by her company, Studio365. AG Cook will oversee the score, while Scottish director Aidan Zamiri makes his directorial debut.

The project is described as a McTar, following the pop star’s experiences during her first arena tour, delving into the inner workings of the music industry and examining the impact of commercial success on subculture.
