Chappell Roan Unveils New Single “The Giver,” Inspired by Country Music

Chappell Roan Releases New Single

Chappell Roan has unveiled her latest single 'Donor' through Amusement/Island Records, marking the first release of 2025.

Transitioning from Country Music

This new track, recognized with a Grammy award, signifies a departure from traditional country music, featuring violin elements and production that echoes Western influences. The release follows her quadruple platinum single from 2024, “Good Luck, Baby!”.

“Country music holds a special place in my heart. I grew up listening to it every morning on the school bus, surrounded by it in stores and karaoke,” says Roan.

“Many have asked if this means I’m creating a country album??? My answer… Right now, I’m just focused on making songs that bring me joy, and ‘Donor’ reflects my take on country. While I’ll let classic country influence my style, I’m here to add a little flair and make some joyful tunes for y’all.”
