The artist replied that fans have been inquiring about the continuation of the “uprising and fall of the Princess of the Middle West,” saying, “A new album?”

The last single Roan, “The Giver,” released on March 14, marks her first new music since “Good luck, baby!” last year. The track, which she debuted during her speech on a Saturday evening in November, showcases a shift in her musical influences.

“Many people asked if this means that I am doing a country album?”

In a recent conversation with Kelly Bannen from Apple Music Country, Roan shared her thoughts on the culture of country music. “I’m going to say something so controversial, but you know who treated me best and worst? They treated me the most pleasant, and they also treated me the worst because it is like high school—and this is what I grew around.”
