The star gained recognition after discussing her “dream artist to collaborate with” on the latest episode of the Call her dad Podcast.

SZA shared a clip from the podcast on her Instagram Stories yesterday (March 26), commenting: “I truly didn’t believe this quote until I saw it leave her lips—I was dead!”

She added, “Please, we have to make this happen,” along with a series of sparkling emojis.

SZA has been a longtime fan of Roan, often showing her support on social media. After Roan’s performance at Lollapalooza last summer, SZA declared: “She inspires me to keep creating new music and art forever.”

This news comes after SZA mentioned that Taylor Swift was “open” to collaborating on new music.

“It’s so intriguing for me,” she said. “Every time she approaches me, I think, ‘Wow, this is happening because it’s totally Taylor Swift.’ I have expressed my desire to write with her and create something together.”
