Instagram Post Celebration

The trio shared a lone post on Instagram featuring images of Daniel Haim, marking the celebration of their 36th birthday party in New York last night (February 13). The caption read: “(Ha) I’m not married… Haim Single?”

While the caption might imply that they are not currently married, the group later shared an Instagram story showcasing all three members dancing to the hit m83 track “Midnight City”. A voice in the background exclaimed, “We returned, baby, we damn it,” suggesting that they are back on the scene.

No further details have been disclosed; however, if new music is on the horizon, it will be their first release since their 2023 single ‘House‘, featured in the Barbie soundtrack.

Reflection on Their Journey

This year also marks the 10th anniversary of their debut album “Days Gone”. To celebrate, they held a grand show in London, which NME described in a five-star review as a “return” to their “spiritual house,” noting that the city is where they first felt embraced as a band.

The band reflected on the decade since “Days,” stating that the album “completely changed our lives.”

When asked about their future plans, the trio mentioned that they had “worked with some cool people.” They teased a potential collaboration with Jai Paul, noting they “could or could not be in the studio with him,” and remained noncommittal.

Their last album, ‘Women in Music Pt. III,’ was released in the summer of 2020. This record was awarded five stars by NME, which praised it as an “experimental and emotionally charged album,” calling it “their best yet.”

In conclusion, the review highlighted that as the band embraced their artistic freedom, they produced a record that is “experimental, soothing, and vulnerable; a remarkable beauty.”
