The performance occurred last Thursday (February 27) at a newly established venue in Nashville called Pinnacle. This marked Masgraves’ first live performance in the 4,500-capacity space, making it even more memorable as she debuted a new track.
The unreleased song “She is my bitch” was performed amidst a set list featuring 15 songs, honoring her beloved dog, Pepper.
“She is black and white, everything goes or die/ more bark than bite/ she is my bitch,” she sang in the opening verse.
“Star of a package, no one says, hit/ yes, she has my back/ she is my bitch,” she continued. “Who would’ve known when I brought her home/ that I’m so in love/ yes, I’m her bitch.”
According to Variety, Masgraves’ affection for Pepper resonated throughout the venue, with attendees chanting their pets’ names by the end of the performance. Check out the clips below.

As previously mentioned, Masgraves recently took home a Grammy at the 2025 ceremony, winning the “Best Country Song” category for her track “Architect.”
The song is featured on her sixth studio album, ‘Deeper Well,’ which was released last year and received a three-star review from NME. The album, titled “Deep Well,” vibrates with the excitement of new beginnings, showcasing Masgraves’ unique perspective on life and love.
The Nashville show occurred amidst controversy regarding an online performance where Masgraves faced backlash for perceived reactions to Beyoncé’s Grammy win for her country-inspired LP “Carder Cowboy.” However, Masgraves’ team quickly addressed these claims, stating, “This is a sensational false narrative intended to pit two talented women artists against each other. There was simply no grimace or negative expression.”
Beyoncé made history as the first Black woman to achieve a number one on the American country charts, amassing a total of 99 Grammy nominations and winning 35 awards — the most in Grammy history.
